reganranch Report post Posted August 16, 2012 It's an International Scout! My dad and uncles had a couple of them back in the Oil Field and they would jump start the big rigs in the snow. These are B.A. pieces of machinery. Free Bump for a great ride.
sjvcon Report post Posted August 16, 2012 Looks for all the world like a Scout II. probably a 345 V8, though it could be a 304. Manual or automatic?
KYLES96 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 Sweet ride, my first 4x4 was a 72 Scout II with a 304V8 and 4 speed manual, looked just like this one. That truck would go anywhere you pointed it.
JLW Report post Posted August 16, 2012 It is an automatic. James

Broken Wheels Report post Posted August 16, 2012 My Father bought his first and only vehicle in his lifetime and it was one of these Scouts(Stump Jumper) and it was incredible! From the Greenbacks to the Bradshaw Mountains to Seligman, we covered some serious ground and even floated across the Verde a couple times to get from the Matazals to Cave Creek without having to go all the way back to Sunflower! Wish I had room in my stable as I would love this thing! Thank you for bringing back fond memories of a good man in better times, should sell quickly! JLW Report post Posted August 17, 2012 Those diffs look to big to be Dana 44's ... is that thing sitting on a pair of 60's??? not sure.... I'm not real good at that stuff.. I asked 1 of the mechanics he said he doesn't think so. I'll try to get more info. James
JLW Report post Posted August 17, 2012 Do you have any interior pictures? I'll get some and post em up. It has bucket (not sure what you would call em, maybe racing style bucket seats as they kind of comfortably rock when you hit a bump) seats but IMO it needs a 5 point harness with the doors like that, right now only lap belts.
