Flatlander Report post Posted August 12, 2012 Does anybody have a metal banding machine or tool? I shot one of the steel bands off of my Block target and need to repair it. Thanks.

Snapshot Report post Posted August 12, 2012 You can also buy a roll of plumbing strap? That metal banding with the holes in it.
Flatlander Report post Posted August 12, 2012 I am in Gilbert. I thought about the ratchet strap but wasn't sure how it would hold up. Snapshot I didn't think about the plumber's tape, did you just screw it in to the plywood on top?
Snapshot Report post Posted August 12, 2012 Yep. Or you can use little bolts through the holes. Just pull it tight as you can.
Flatlander Report post Posted August 13, 2012 So here is what I think will do: Cinch it down with a ratchet strap and then secure it with plumber's tape and some drywall screws. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I knew I couldn't be the only guy who has shanked one on one of these targets.
123456 Report post Posted August 13, 2012 Great idea with sinching with a ratchet strap, But i would nut and bolt the plumbers tape instead of drywall screws. It will last much longer and will not have screws going into your target.
