Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 18, 2006 North of the Grand Canyon on the Kaibab National Forest, the Sowats Fire is burning about halfway between Big Sowats Canyon to the north and Big Saddle Point to the south. I think that fire is needed but it should only burn isolated spots at a time for the health of the forrest and the animals, besides that areas is good for the archery hunt and the early rifle hunt.
