Siwash Report post Posted August 10, 2012 I have a Bogen pistol grip head....traveling right now and don't know the model number but I believe they only have one...when I return in early September I'll sell it for $45 with one shoe if you are interested. It's a solid head with a fluid pan and works great with Docter 15x60s so it would handle Swaro 15x with no problem. I also like the pistol grip head for use with "the claw" rifle rest. The Bogen head is not the lightest head out there but it is considerably more affordable than the Outdoorsmans

pwrguy Report post Posted August 11, 2012 +6 on the outdoorsman, not crazy about all of their products, but the pistol grip is light and very durable. Highly recommend.
Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted August 11, 2012 3rd outdoorsmans with the panning attachment Agreed! I have that combo and think adding the panning attachment is well worth it. You'll have the best of both worlds. Quick, intuitive acquisition with the pistol grip but when you're glassing your grid pattern you can loosen the panning attachment so you can pan horizontally by just lightly moving the binos with the bridge of your nose.
