Saw a pair at Sportsmans Warehouse in Tucson, AZ. I had the 2011 Razor HD's and I loved them before I sold them to get Swaros. the 2012 design looks great. You can't tell much in a store but I could tell the new design blew the old one away. They are much, much lighter and per the Specs the FOV is awesome. I am sure they are equal if not better in image to the 2011 Razor HD's. If this is the case I can tell you that they compare remarkable well to Swaros. The sweet spot is big and colors are very bright. Where they didn't compare is the edge of the lens although this was minimal. Don't think you will regret your purchase.

I looked through them at Sportsman's Warehouse in Phoenix. They ARE very nice. However, I think the edge clarity is not on par with the Zeiss Conquest HD's, which I looked at during the same visit. Compared both multiple times. But everyone's eye is different.

One thing that I will say is that you can't beat their warranty. If I don't buy the Razors, I will Buy Minox APO-HG's on Doug's Open Box Special ... more money, but better glass, and Minox has gone No Fault as well.

I looked through the Viper HD's at Cabelas. Surprisingly, the lady there handed me a pair of Nikon Monarch 7's that are $100 less ... they were much crisper at the edges. I was amazed. They were not quite on a par with the Conquest HD's I looked through, but better than the Viper HD's.

Must have been meant to be ... I had some gift cards to Cabela's and happened to be by there today. I stopped in to see if they had the Razor HDs and thought if they did I'd go ahead and get them ... like I said ... can't beat that warranty. They had two, so I bought one. Got home and tried them just a few minutes back at low light. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great pair of binos. Never knew what I'd been missing until I looked through them near dark. Unbelievable.
