Trail Camera Set up

Hello everyone I was just wondering on what your setups are for your trail camera's I know if someone truly wants your camera they are going to take it but I am just looking for some ideas

I think getting off the main roads is the most important. You certainly dont want to put it right next to a main hiking trail where there will be lots of people. Now in saying that, I have gotten pics of hikers/hunters well over 1 mile from ANY existing road but they did not take my camera. You can use ubolts on the side of the case and lock it to the tree with a python lock. Some use the cable through method wich puts a plasic rod through the case and the python lock goes around that. Take a look at hags house they sell the locks and have very good pics of setups.

On a few I place them up high 10 feet or so . I use tree stand steps and remove them so no one can get up and get the camera . I angle the camera down . Mostly use this setup over water where it might be found . all my cameras I use a python lock . I have made a frame out of 1/2 square tubing to lock the camera in and lock it to the tree this will help to protect it from bears also
