Snapshot Report post Posted August 5, 2012 I have a1999 Dodge ram 2500 w/ a 5.9L 360 V8. I was getting all kinds of crazy misfire codes on the analyzer. I researched the problem on the internet and a common problem with these engines is the manifold, and plenmum gaskets go out and create a lean misfire condition. Spent 8 hours pulling the manifold and replacing gaskets in a 104 degree sun. (no garage or carport) and I'm cooked. Just curious if any of you guys with older Dodge Rams have had this problem. It seems to be common with people on the Dodge forums with this engine.
