AntlerObsession Report post Posted August 2, 2012 Birthday suit? I will be forever scarred with that thought... What do you sit on? Do you throw it away after every ... hour? Those are not something you want second servings of!

JLW Report post Posted August 2, 2012 depends on the bugs that year and or if sitting a treestand or brush blind or pop up blind. A couple years back by 10 am I was in my underwear dripping sweat! A year before that was a bug suit and underwear! Pop up blinds are great for keeping the bugs out but suck for ventilation! James

azpredator@work Report post Posted August 2, 2012 Same as others, start taking off the clothes in the morning and by noon down to just the boxers. I usually bring 4-5 black t-shirts and change into them as they start to stink. I constantly spray down with scent killer. Make sure you put up your blind for a couple days before the hunt and let it air out. I also spray the blind down really good with scent killer (inside and out). I also wash my carrying bag with my camo so it decreases as much odor as possible.

tjhunt2 Report post Posted August 3, 2012 I start out with the typical camo pants and shirt but end up down to my shorts before it's over. Not a pretty site to see. I take a small ice chest with some frozen water & gater-aide that I continue to rub over my body as the day goes on and then drink it when it thaws. It's dam right hot but I have found it to be very productive while everyone else is back in camp. TJ
Becker Report post Posted August 3, 2012 If you guys are sitting water holes you could always set the blind up in the middle of the pond, half submerged, then you would be sitting in the water all day, NICE AND COOL!!! HAHAHAHA
willhunt4coues Report post Posted August 3, 2012 I grab the spandex type black short sleeve shirts at walmart and also take with me a black pair of shorts. I where pants and camo shirts up to the blind then change when I get there. Take a few bottles of scent away or dead down wind and spray yourself all day long. help keeps you cool too.
