AZSFW question

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is the right place or not...found this AZSFW discussion while researching tripods.

My question is whether this is the same group as the AZ Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation who benefit from the wildlife license plate sales...time to renew my truck plates and considering the wildlife plate. Just wondering...

Thanks!

The licence plate program is a good program, I wouldn't let anything deter you from renewing it. AZSFW and AZSFWC are legally two different entities but shared board members and the same basic vision. The point is though, the plate program is a good program.

Where and what does the money from the license plates go to?

Yeah, I'm guessing it costs money to make the plates. If you don't like the idea or where the money goes that's your perogative, I'm just saying what I know. I don't nor have I ever supported AZSFW or AZSFWC, I'm just answer a question sprinkled with some opinon.

I honestly have no idea what the money is used for, and am interested in finding out... This may very well be a "good program" as you stated, but does anyone know what and where the money is used for?????

That web page is interesting... It shows all the money comes from the auction tags, not the license plates.

It also says that they spent $80,000 on reintroducing Bighorn Sheep into the Catalina mountains. I'm pretty sure there are still no sheep in the Catalinas...

Sorry guys the first links I posted were for Auction tag fund not license plates. This stuff is hard to keep track of. I deleted those links and updated with license plate funds. The Catalina reintro has been put on hold, no money was spent just allocated for future use.

Looks like a few good water tank projects, and a bunch of workshops. All good projects, except $5000.00 for Grey Wolf education??
