The guy in Aurora had an agenda. If he had not been able to accomplish it with guns, he'd have used home made explosives, or even run his car into the line of people waiting to get in. He had access to tear gas ... not like that is a legal item to be bought off the shelf. Criminals will always find a means of causing harm. Guns didn't provide him with either the motive or the opportunity to kill. They were the tool that he chose ... like McVeigh chose a truck and a bomb made with fertilizer. If they were not available legally, he'd have obtained them illegally or just used something else. It is a tragedy when things like this happen. But they could easily happen without the availability of guns. Islamists used box cutters and planes to murder over 3,000 innocent victims on 9/11. By the way ... Rahm Emmanuel is taking advantage of the crisis he has in Chicago ... the most murders in the US in 2012. He has decided to grant the Nation of Islam, under Louis Farrakhan, right to patrol the city streets. So what do you all think will happen when some white criminal (or non-crminal) gets beaten to death by members of the Nation of Islam? Do you think there will be huge public outcry? Do you think President Dip Stick will get on TV and say to the nation "if I had a son, he'd look just like that boy"? Do you think that Eric "Fast and Furious" Holder will pursue charges? I am VERY concerned that things like this are happening in our Country, and all my prayers go out to the families of the victims. I just don't think that legislation against guns stops criminal minds from figuring out ways to commit murder when that is their "bent". The media just has the ANTI GUN focus that they have always had ... as is their Liberal Nature, so they push the Agenda along with the Political Left.
