azhuntnut Report post Posted July 29, 2012 I had one run across the road in front of me in the north valley at eight in the morning the other day. I rolled up where he crossed and he was walking out into the desert. All I did was roll the window down and start mouth squeaking at him. He turned and started walking back towards me. I also gave him a light howl and he came even closer to investigate. At one point he was only 12 yards away. I would say it is a great time to start huntin for them now.
