KGAINES Report post Posted July 20, 2006 It would be kind of cool to watch as the names are spit out of the computer, it would be like watching the nfl draft and waiting to be picked. The sheep tags could be drawn and announced on the azgfd local channel, it could even be pay per view. I can see it now, with all the interest in the draw they are going to have a website where you can watch the results as they are uploaded, you will have to pay a fee to be on the site though. Before computers came along, the drawings were done manually ... and publicly. At a certain announced time, applications in boxes were taken to the state capitol (I think) and names were drawn. I never attended the drawings, but I knew hunters who did. One of them called me after a drawing to say I had drawn a House Rock buffalo tag. This was 100 years ago, at least. TATAat27 Report post Posted July 20, 2006 It's a little early to have them take anything from your account since the draw hasn't been done. Maybe your wife got a hold of your chase card and decided she would buy you a trout stamp, a bear tag and mountain lion tag to help you get over that elk tag you're not gettin. Good luck to everyone else. That doesn't make sense.....i hope it's true for your sake, but they shouldn't be runnin' cards yet. my guess is they were running their tests and actually tested the whole system from start to finish using some actual apps and successful hunters and you happened to be one of them. I would bet thats it, but who knows? JIM>
coues krazy Report post Posted July 20, 2006 All I know is that I checked my account online, and there was a withdrawl for 78.00$. I just checked again, and there is another one for 19.50$. I am not pulling a prank or anything like that, I am just giving you guys a heads up as to what has happened with my account. It says POS DEBIT AZ GAME & FISH DEPT 888 773 8450 Tn. I am assuming the tn stands for Tennessee. Im stoked! Hey TATAat27, I already have those, and she was there when I got em. Oh, and I was told the draw happened monday night. If it doesn't, they will give your tag someone else
