azpackhorse Report post Posted July 17, 2006 I am actually a wanna be archery antelope hunter, having never drawn an archery antelope tag so I am just practicing whining about it Lee, I talked to my inside contact at fish & game and managed to secure you one of the last December 36b whitetail tags, I was hoping for it to be a surprise when they posted the results on 7/21 @ 5:15pm MST but oh well. 111 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 25-06 I heard the same thing as you, the only thing kept them from coming out Friday was a few glitches. The August 1st is when bonus points will be updated. .270 Report post Posted July 17, 2006 i'd tell ya'll to call 1-800-DEERHUNT, like i did last year, but my ears are still burnin'. it'll happen when it happens. same thing every year. "this guy said". "my friend at the game and fish said". etc. but it is like waitin' for xmas. hope i don't get no switches this year. a guy i know(sound familiar?) had a problem with his application, seems they charged him the $5 application fee, 15 times. the game and fish gave him a number to call. seems our stuff, at least the part he had problems with, is done in tennesee. and according to him, by a buncha hillbillies. he had a heck of a time getting the $5 deal fixed and then they withdrew his stuff from draw. he caught that and got it fixed, but he said tryin' to understand the hillbilly accent was worse than dealin' with some pakistani customer service agent from the phone company. i know in years past, convicts in prison did the actual downloading. now we have hillbillies. i told him next time to call me and i'll talk to em. i talk fluent hillbilly. i can't wait to see the comments on the computer "sorry feller, ya'll dint draw nothin' this year", or, "ya'll wuz drood fer havuhlina, no wait, half o' leena, no wait, ya'll know, them little pig lookin' thangs". COOSEFAN Report post Posted July 18, 2006 I hope you boys are right about the little "glitches" and "coming out this week" stuff, cause I'm hearing different! I had just got settled in for the long wait till the 25th or 26th when I got on here and read your posts! It's all just rumors, I know, but those little glitches were more like big screw-ups from what i'm hearing! I heard the commission was even asked for an extension on the deadline because of the problems. I don't know if it happened or not but i'm not hearing any positive rumors....... at least not until I get on this thread! I think I'll just stay here and listen to you guys! It makes me feel better! Then you actually secured the tag for me! As soon as get out of Cabela's (by special invitation) on July 26th I am taking my deer tag, stoppin' off to buy my winning Powerball ticket and then heading to 36B for the rest of the year! I have gone there a couple of times this morning and it is unusually slow to come up and the order in which items on the website come up are a little different each time. My bet is today sometime.
