Was wondering if anyone on CWT also shoots Tues. Night Steel out at Rio Salado.

I shoot about every week so if anyone is interested in going let me know and maybe we can shoot together some time. Funny thing I meet and shot with Michell from season 4 of Top Shot tonight. Really nice down to earth young lady.

I shoot as well. Although, I've not been out much this summer. I'm not a big fan of sitting out in 110 heat for 2+ hrs. I'll start going more when it cools down.

What are the details on this shoot? With my new shift, I am usually off Tuesday/Wednesday (or can be at least) and theres no such thing as a bad time sending lead down the range..

Details are show up and shoot three to five courses with pistol of your choice. Courses. COnsist of steel targets from 10-25 ft usually. You start out in novice or "d" class and work your way up to 'a' class over the months. The first time there you have to show up early and take a quick class. It can be a lot of fun but also spend a lot of time sitting around watching others shoot. Phoenix Rod and Gun club has the steel match every thursday night starting at 4 and its usually not as crowded. Usery range begins at 3 for early shooters.

In a nut shell. Shooting starts @ 4:00pm. Entry fee is $12 for non members $10 for members. You'll need holster mags and mag holsters all easily accessed. (don't recommend concealed holsters) new shooters must take a short class once that starts @ 6:00 pm every tues. That will run you through how it works and safety rules. I recommend bringing

200 rounds of ammo depending on how well you shoot that can dwindle down to around 100 rds. There will be a layout With instructions at each stage It's strictly time based from the buzzer till your last shot.

That sounds like a blast. I'll have to look into getting all that gear for my XD-40 and I'll have to round up some buds and get after it!

Not off next tuesday, and wont have my gear yet. Need a ammo holster and a better/more suitable holster for this.

I will be there. I usually get there around 3:30 and finish by 5:30ish. I'll run through a second time though if you all want to show up latter.
