Prairie Doggin'

Recommended Posts

Cool vid - love shooting p-dogs but it's been hard to find a good colony. Been watching one spread, hopefully the numbers will get up high enough I won't feel bad shooting a few. I remember some similar videos a while back by the "Red Mist Society" or something like that - drove the ARA's nuts!

Very fun. I showed it to everyone in my house. They all loved it.

We can be our own worst enemy sometimes . Public perception is very real issue when it comes to hunting. You have every right to engage in the sport of shooting prairie dogs, and it is beneficial in some cases. Does it contribute to a positive public perception of hunters when we publicize it in this fashion? I seriously doubt it. To each his own, however .

Great video! Have you ever gone prairie dog fishing? It is a great time. All you need is a cooler of beer, some lawn chairs, and some fishing poles. Make a loop with a slip knot and place the loop over the hole and wait for them to pop up, and when they do, snag them and reel them in.

definetly will not be sharing that with the 7 year old little girl in my house.

I agree with ya there. I wouldn't even let my wife view this video.

That's some funny stuff! Actually used to catch lizards that way when I was a kid. A buddy of mine told me about it and I never thought it'd be possible. But it sure does work!! Could just imagine yanking a PD right out of his hole when he peeks his head out....awesome!
