azpackhorse Report post Posted July 9, 2006 Quite a few stayed in Arizona, the Coues tag went to someone in Tucson..........but it wernt me They are going to list the winners by Monday, you can find the link on the AZGF website. If you look at the Az. regional conference on Bowsite it lists where the tags went (state). Hopefully someone from here got the Coues tag.

Tracker Report post Posted July 11, 2006 Thank's Scott, That is good information. It is interesting to know the breakdown & where the money goes. I did not know you were involved. But, should have known. Take care. Craig
ScottAdams Report post Posted July 11, 2006 Actually Craig I can't take credit for that. I wasn't involved in the raffle but a good friend of mine was. He gave me the info. It obviously was a huge success in raising money and I can see this being an annual fund raiser. Scott
SunDevil Report post Posted July 11, 2006 Does anyone know if they sold more or less sheep tickets through the Super Raffle?
Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 11, 2006 Judging by the number of tickets sold, elk and deer seem to be more popular than bighorn (maybe it was the units available to hunt sheep and/or the ticket cost) The guy who won the elk tag posted on bowsite that he thinks he only purchased two tickets for elk. I'd say he beat the odds big-time. Thanks for posting the numbers, Scott. Half a million $$$ directly for wildlife!!!! RR
