Steven, I bought a 99 grand vitara last June and it has been my best hunting rig yet. I have already put 20k on it. I put a small lift on it and it came with a factory air locker up front. It goes anywhere I point it. I just recently sold my ranger since I never used it anymore. Mine is a 99 with the 2.5 v-6 auto with all the options, including leather. Powertrax makes a limited slip you can put in he rear, but it will only works on the 99 model. I have some BFG KM2's going on it next week for the upcoming elk seasons, but I have been running the BFG at's with no issues. One of the great things about the rig is that it is so quiet that you are able to drive into your hunting area undetected. Plus you stay warm and dry. If the motor stopped tomorrow, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. David

I would have to say about 20 or more. the best thing about it is it drives really smooth in rough country and you have ac to keep you cool and a heater when your freezing.
