goinhuntn Report post Posted July 16, 2012 Anyone have a good recommendation for a shop in Flagstaff or Phoenix? I am from out of state and would like to get my bow tuned and strings replaced while I am out there scouting for elk. Thanks for any help!!

Joe Kauffman Report post Posted July 16, 2012 goinhuntn, If you're in Phx, just south of I-10 and 59th ave is Ross Outdoors. It's a smaller shop with a real attention to detail and a great group of guys. They do all my bow work and I highly recommend them. Good luck!

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted July 16, 2012 All three mentioned above are good and are sponsors of this site. In addition, here is another sponsor who is up in Flagstaff who can help you out. http://www.huntershq.com/ The other thing you should get, especially being from out of state is the Outdoorsmans Resource Guide for AZ. It lists phone numbers and addresses for bow shops, taxidermists, gas stations, auto mechanics, and a lot more stuff like that which you might need during your hunt. CEI Outdoorsmans Resource Guide is also a sponsor here. Check out their website for more info on the publication. It's really useful for hunters during a hunt! http://outdoorsmansresourceguide.com/
