Dan H Report post Posted July 15, 2012 Everyone needs laughter in their lives. So what made you laugh today? Here's one of ours,Tank who weighs in at120 and has no shortage of food trust me. Well he always lets us know when it's time to eat as seen in photo, he took off and went to our neighbors back door yesterday with his bowl in mouth looking for handouts. We were so embarrassed but it was one of the funniest things you ever seen watchin him sit on their patio with that bowl in his mouth like it was nothing. Times like this laughing amongst family and friends is not replaceable and worth a lifetime of memories. .Confident we will all get to read some good stories and all be laughing right along with you. Snapshot Report post Posted July 15, 2012 Thats funny. My sister has a big pitbull named "Tank", and he's built like one. But he is a big ol'e teddy bear. I used to laugh at some of the things my dog did also. Always made my day! Even though it was 4 years ago. When I was married we had two cats and dog. My cat "Oliver" who I just called "Bubba", was a street urchin that I rescued and brought home. One night I was sitting in the recliner eating a bowl of red chili con carne and tortillas. "Bubba" decided he wanted to be on my lap and jumped right into the bowl of chili. Chili went flying, the cat went flying. It was pretty funny watching Bubba trying to lick himself clean of spicy chile.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted July 18, 2012 Our old dog Molly used to carry her bowl around the house too. She even carried it through the doggy door when it was full because she liked to eat outside. but here is a pick of Julie the other day. She came into my office carrying the TV remote and a copy of Money Magazine!! She carries the remote alot, but the magazine was a first!
BASS Report post Posted July 18, 2012 Im sure my lab, Buddy, would do the same thing if he could! Everyday at four in the afternoon he at the bowls waitig. If you ignore him, he'll bat them around a bit, and whine softly. If you still dont listen, he cuts the subtle tactics and will start barking until you feed him! Whoops! Just made eye contact with him, and now hes at the bowls!
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted July 19, 2012 My dog, Ojos who is a pure bred mut doesn't tell time like my parents lab, Snickers does (every day 5 o'clock she starts pacing) but he INSISTS on showing me where I keep the food. As I am walking to the food container, he will run back and forth probably 5 times before I get there. Also, when riding in the truck, he will have his but sitting on the back seat, his front legs on the floor between the front and back seat, and his head resting on the center console. He will litterally fall asleep in this position. Out cold!
