Wouldn't it be great to get a CWT fishing trip planned out of San Diego? I'ld jump on board. Thanks for sharing your fish with us. TJ Sounds fun! But you know it would fall on a weekend you had to work!! Oh no it won't. lol As of now my work schedule for next year has me working 4/10s with every weeekend off. No more missing projects, banquets, and our first ever San Diego Fishing Adventure. I wonder how many would sign up and who would be willing to put something like that together? TJ sounds like you should put it together then!! No thanks, just checked and I have to work that weekend. lol TJ Didn't you mention something about retiring next year? Yes I did. m77 Report post Posted July 19, 2012 Captain said about 120 - 125 for the weight. We didn't put it on a scale. Too much of a hurry to clean it and have sashimi on the dock. The week prior to this trip I fished in the AHI FEVER Tourney on the west coast of Oahu. The winning Ahi was 255 pounds. One boat on Sunday had 4 Ahi between 100 and 170 pounds. Awesome time to fish off the coast of Oahu mid-june through the summer. Ahi, Ono and Mahi all being caught. Fish the 4 days following a New Moon. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
stanley Report post Posted July 19, 2012 Wow...... It's threads like this that make me VERY bitter about the curse of sea/motion sickness that I have. I absolutely LOVE to fish, and I LOVE to eat fish! Unfortunately, for me I have come to the conclusion that I cannot take part in this type of fun due to the life-long curse! I've tried three times and all have ended in misery! Dramamine, Bonine, patches behind the ears, nothing has worked so I end-up slumped over the rail for the vast majority of the time. (One was a 1 1/2 day trip south out of San Diego for Albacore....... 30 hours of heaving misery! ) I sincerely envey you!!! Good show! S. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
