Ron G. Report post Posted July 5, 2006 It's a salt lick my dad started years ago. The hole to the right of the stump is where he originally put the salt. It's a good sized hole now. coueskiller Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Man some of those elk look to be in bad shape with rib and hip bones showing pretty bad!!! We have been getting a little rain here around Flag. but I think it's a little too late now to help out in the antler department but it should green things up and give them something to eat, don't get me wrong we have seen some good bulls running around but nothing like it would be if we had some moisture earlier in the year!!
