reganranch Report post Posted July 10, 2012 I'm using the Primos Truth Cam 35 super reliable, super simple, photos, video, takes a little over 4000 pics before it dies. I have a moultire Gamespy D-55 its the 100 dollar one and it sucks. It always malfunctions and doesnt take photos I know this to be true because when I have my primos side by side primos takes photos and the moultire is sportatic and has quit taking photos after 2-3 days. I will only buy a stealth cam or primos. Heres some pics of what my primos caught last month. http://forums.couesw...topic=33767&hl=

James Thats good to hear James i was wondering if mine was the only one and I got the lemon out of the factory. Its disappointing because I wonder what all Ive missed with the moultrie being on a great spot and not taking any pictures.
AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted July 10, 2012 Thanks for the response guys. In doing the reaserch on mouletrie camera independant reviews allot of people had the same problems you two are having. After having said that they were suprised to say how well the new cameras from moultrie for 2012 preformed during the testing. I like the idea of having a viewing monitor on the camera due to the fact this is the only thing I own that will use an SD card aside from my computer. In other words I would have to go out and buy a camera or viewing device that takes an SD card if I wanted to view the pictures on the spot. The only reason I can think that I would need to do this is if its not producing and I can decide then if I want to move it. Speedy.
111 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 I'm currently using the Moultrie M-100 camera's. I have three of them and all are out in the desert right now. The pics I just posted of muleys are all from the Moultrie M-100 cameras. The viewing screen is good to have as well, and they're very easy camera's to set up! I think I am going to give one a shot. As long as they work they seem to have alot of nice features for the money.
