Younghunter Report post Posted July 13, 2012 Wesley, where did you go? Nowhere, I am just trying to figure out which muzzleloader to get. I have spent hours researching, I get to where I think I know which one to get and then I read something else and then I am back to being unsure. I am trying to decide between a T/C or Knight. What are your thoughts SirRoyal? Thanks again everybody for your input I really do appreciate it. Wesley
rugerman Report post Posted July 13, 2012 Same as previously posted, I have the TC Triumph/Leupold Muzzleloader scope and love it. Used it on the Dec. muzzy mule deer hunt a few years ago and heart shot a buck 100 yards offhand. Used the Barnes 250 gr EZ sabots. Recovered the bullet on the far side under the hide. 123456 Report post Posted July 14, 2012 Quit reading and get the TC Triumph its in the budget and its a tack driver with the right setup! +1.. Do not over think it. Most modern muzzleloaders are fantastic. I have the triumph and it is more accurate than most people shooting it.
Younghunter Report post Posted July 16, 2012 After reading the posts on here and doing some research I decided it was between the T/C Triumph and Knight Mountaineer. There was many times I was close to getting a T/C but I really liked the look of the Knight. After talking with my brothers and dad we decided that we could pay the extra money as this will be a lifetime investment. What made me make the final decision to go with the Knight was, a thread on huntingnet.com that asked if a Triumph or Mountaineer was better. Most of the people that had owned both, said the Mountaineer was a bit better but both were real high quality. I do think I would have been happy with either gun but I feel the Knight is a better made muzzleloader. I want to thank you again for all your imput. I love this forum!! Sincerely, Wesley
