Special Commisioner's Coues Tag raises $15,000 for wildlife

I am at the SCI banquet in Tucson and the coues tag just sold for $15000 in some intense bidding. It is always fun to be sitting next to the winning bidder on something like this! All this money goes to the AGFD to be used on projects to benefit coues deer. Winning bidder is from Texas.

Very nice. I would think that a quality Coues tag would go for more, considering what the mule deer tags auction for. But it's great that the money is used for the wildlife!

 

SCI does alot of great things worldwide.

I was looking right at Scott, and was going to bid up to $5,000 (mostly just to get a rise out of my fiance) but before I could even raise my bidder number, it was up t0 $7,000. One of the few auctions last night that went for a good bit of money! It was pretty neat to see!
