hoghntr Report post Posted July 7, 2012 Thought maybe some pics might help this is a Matrix.. Double Bull.. you know the not shiny kind!!! used once maybe 2x but i did manage to tear the zipper stop on bottom of door zipper.. zipper is connected but that piece needs glue or tape or stitching or welding or whatever it is you do to zippers on tents. you can set this baby up any way you want it.. even open 360 for a tan if that is your preference! example in bottom pic but not fastened down and only opened part way. really a quite amazing blind but i hunt alone now days and have enough for myself.. $

Coach Report post Posted July 9, 2012 Nice blind. My boys and I have shot lots of critters out of one just like it including several turkeys and a nice velvet coues. One of the best investments I ever made. If the price gets rediculously low, I'd love to a have second. I think I paid around $400 new for mine. I wish they had never put that zipper there in the first place...nobody uses it. IMO, that's the only design flaw with that generation of blind, but if you do what most of us do, just keep it zipped up and do the lift/crawl method, it's one of the best ways to hunt. I watched 12 legal bucks walk inside 16 yards from one of these blinds a couple years ago. Shot number 13. IMO, no better blind on the market.
hoghntr Report post Posted July 9, 2012 yeah 4 hip surgeries in last 4 years so no crawling for this guy! ): thats how i drug my foot on this one and tore it, i hadn't found out my new (at that time now revised) fixed hip was basically dislocating. .. wish i would have realized the benefit of 360 and just lowered the dang zipped are down a bit so it wasnt so tight. im thinkin about buying the kind that is wheelchair accessible where whole back lifts up.. most recent surgerie was a revision of a replacement and it works gr8 now but dang that cool mountain air makes all the fake parts kinda stiff and clumbsy. Coach Report post Posted July 9, 2012 Dang, hoghntr, sorry to hear about the medical issues. This is a solid product and I'll be watching it closely. I hope you get the chance to hunt more despite the hip problems.
