Anaconda Report post Posted July 7, 2012 I've got some rookie questions to ask while I contemplate my first game cam. I know "if they really want to steal it, they will no matter what", but are these "Python locks" worth it compared to say, a length of 1/4" welded chain and a decent padlock ? The reason I ask is I was talking to someone who's bicycle was stolen and the cable type lock had been cut, and he claimed the cables can be cut with a good pair of tin snips. AZHUNTER05 Report post Posted July 7, 2012 Lock boxes, chains (or cable's) , and pad locks are only a deterrent! If they want your camera they will get it. All they need is a battery operated grinder and its theirs.
bonecollector Report post Posted July 7, 2012 I use the python cables on all my cameras. It makes it easy to attach to any size tree. If they want it they'll get it!
