Apache7mm Report post Posted June 30, 2006 Just thought that i would start up a fresh post on the whole T-shirt stuff, i remember we were all talking about it awhile back and i said i would do some kind of drawing but i still havn't, i did however dig out a drawing i did back in the HS days, the quality of the drawing is good still and just thought i'd post a pic for everyone to see and maybe get the ball rolling a little more on some shirts because i know i definately would like to have one, anyway here it is... CouesWhitetail Report post Posted June 30, 2006 Neat drawing Dan. Rembrant was going to do a design for us. I don't know if he has had a chance to work on it or not. I will email him and ask. Amanda

coueshunter Report post Posted June 30, 2006 Dan, fantastic picture. Everybody, Dan is a very very talented artist who I have looked at alot of his stuff and bought some things that are special to me. I think its neat to have guys like Rembrandt (Mike Fabritz) and Apache7mm (Dan Juan) who not only are great artists but also love the outdoors and hunt like the rest of us. I think its a talent I would love to have but am stuck with only being able to do stick figures but my hat is off to these talented people, thanks for being part of this forum........... CouesWhitetail Report post Posted June 30, 2006 I second what Allen said. It sure is great having some hunter artists around here. And don't forget Bill Quimby's work which is what I used to create the stickers and logos and such for this website. I love his drawings.
Chef Report post Posted July 1, 2006 Here is the monster. Great drawing!
Rembrant Report post Posted July 5, 2006 Apache 7mm, Great drawing! That would be really good on a t-shirt. And nope, I ain't sat down to put together any designs for Amanda yet. I would like too, just busy! And it wouldn't bother me a bit if someone else got 'er done. Just one thing, We 'd better be really carefull about using someone else's monster deer - unless we have permission from the owner. I think using known trophy bucks is a good way to go, yet we don't wanna get into a sticky situation. Get Dan King's permission, and that would make a great t-shirt. Apache7mm Report post Posted July 11, 2006 I definately agree with Rembrant about the getting permission to use someones buck for advertisement, i really had no intent on using the drawing for the shirts, it was just a drawing of my own i had from back in the days, just wanted to put something up to maybe get the ball rolling more and to get more of us into the idea and reality of CW shirts. I personally thought it would be nice if anything else to put Amanda's killer Mexico buck on the shirt, if not then i guess a generic monster would do fine for us. anymore suggestions on the subject would be nice and i'd be honored to help with a drawing for the shirts.
