6ANut Report post Posted June 28, 2012 As stated above Im new on here but Im a 4th generation Arizonan. I have been hunting birds and animals all over Arizona since I was 5. Shot my first duck off the Salt River, first quail off the 69 Highway towards Prescott Valley and am almost too young to remember dove hunting West of Phoenix in the cotton fields with my Pa. I was issued tag 3 and 4 for the very first ever Pheasant hunt in Yuma, boy was that different than hunting in Northern California but is was fun while the hunt lasted. My passion is hunting, not killing. Please dont pass judgement on my name it was my online poker name for over 4 years and has stuck with me ever since. Im not just some weed smoking idiot. I look forward to meeting new friends on here. Attached are a few pics from what I like to call, Location X.

reganranch Report post Posted June 29, 2012 Hey PassDaBlunt i think you owe me some money from one of those online poker games. Haha us poor college kids barely have enough money for CHick-Fila much less playing the mens game. Welcome man! By the looks of your post you've tagged out on your fair share of game. What hopes did you throw into the deer/sheep draw this fall? Do you hunt mostly up north and the white tanks or make your way down south also?
6ANut Report post Posted June 29, 2012 Hey I was a poor college student as well I played baseball all throughout college and barley had time to hunt let alone work, I just have a golden horseshoe up my A**. I have a cabin inside of Munds Park so I do most of my hunting in the northern part of the state. I have shot a few mearns quail near Tucson but thats about it for hunting down south. I don't stray far from 6A, I seem to be able to hunt everything within 30 miles of my cabin. Every year I put in for elk & deer and as you can see I do my fair share of bird hunting. Elk hunting is my passion, I try and at least hunt a week a year with someone or have a tag myself ( OTC depredation hunt tags). Here is a OTC bull shot last year, I had no part in that bad caping job.
reganranch Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Yeah man hunting and scouting is that much better when you get to leave the University and get out of town. I lived in Eloy on my families farm and was in 37a all the time in the Silverbells and Mt. Newman sometimes straying onto the indian reservation. Now im lucky to get out of Tucson once a semester. Thats a heck of a bull on a depravation hunt! Munds park is a nice place man good luck in the fall draw. Welcome aboard to CW also lot of good knowledgeable folks on here.
