I called game and fish and they said there was a low deer count and they decided to close the archery hunt?????? But they still give over 2000 rifle hunts???????? WHAT A CROCK!!!!!! CouesBuckhunter Report post Posted June 26, 2012 Yes they are. It is bs because they are making the decision mostly based off of data that is two years old. Plus rifle hunters do not have to report their deer kills as it is not mandatory like it is for all archery hunters. Their data is old and unreliable for that reason. buffhunter Report post Posted June 26, 2012 I would bet dollars to doughnuts that a ton of people don't even notice this and hunt there anyway...... it has never been closed and they did not put it in the "NEW FOR 2012" section of the regs this year either........
