kwp Report post Posted June 24, 2012 Devin does absolutely amazing work. I look at my coues buck every day and think it is the most beautiful mount I've ever seen. Had plenty of other people tell me the same. I hope I get to take another buck to him very soon.
billrquimby Report post Posted June 24, 2012 That buck's wonderful antlers are a perfect example of the huge flaw in the measuring system used for the Boone & Crockett Club's venerable record book. It would be interesting to know what it scored before and after deductions for non-symmetry. Bill Quimby
Becker Report post Posted June 25, 2012 Bill, I think the buck, SCI or total gross, is 239. Its frame grosses around 218 I and I believe he would most likely net somewhere down towards 190. Might not make the all time book. In this case you could say, as lots of people do....."NETS ARE FOR FISHING!" HAHAHA
