phx hunter Report post Posted June 26, 2006 Hey all, love the site. Have met and hunted with some of the members in AZ and am now proud to be your newest member. Got drawn for NM unit 23 WT. Not Burro Mtn. I respect the need to protect your spots and am not asking for GPS coordinates. But, if any body could point me to some general areas, websites or articles I would appreciate it. Please no suggestions like "No-tell-um creek" or "I don't thinkso Mtn." Also wanted to hear (in private) from any who have used and liked Gila Wilderness outfitters. Guest AZ>NMcouesaddict Report post Posted July 4, 2006 I'm in the same boat. Still pretty new to NM with a few NM animals already under my belt. I did have an AZ unit 27 tag last year and was able to find some good pockets of coues along the border areas. Didn't see anything huge but I'm sure they are there. Let's talk, maybe we can figure out some good country. I've been looking forward to hunting this unit. I have seen some good coues up in the mixed conifer in the northern most portion of the unit but they are very difficult to find.
