Elkaddict Report post Posted June 15, 2012 here is a website I hit a lot, it gets updated more often than the Govt sites in my opinion. The fire is called the Poco fire. http://wlfhotlist.co...234-AZ-TNF-Poco This link doesn't work for me. Works for me. Keep getting "The webpage cannot be found HTTP 404 "

bonecollector Report post Posted June 16, 2012 While checking cams yesterday I could see the plume of smoke, hoping it wasn't a new fire. It is rediculously dry out.
WildHeritageTaxidermy Report post Posted June 16, 2012 Well the meeting didn't have too much new info... Young Rd will be closed at least till wed. Main things they are concerned with are the power lines and making lines on the east and west sides to try and keep it heading toward an old burn to the north. Round Mtn. has visible flames behind it tonight.

WildHeritageTaxidermy Report post Posted June 17, 2012 Fire estimated at 3,100 acres. Resources on the fire include ten Hotshot crews, four 20-person crews, 12 engines, two dozers, six water tenders, four helicopters, for a total of 490 people. Tanker 911 (DC-10) continues to work on the fire. Here is the DC-10 dropping slurry on Round Mtn.(pic taken from our front yard) You can also see one of the helicopters that is dropping water. The helicopters are getting water from the FS, about every 4 minutes one comes in, right behind our house. Its been pretty noisy here the last few days.....
