CouesWhitetail Report post Posted June 13, 2012 This article is from the Pope and Young Club and it discusses the many benefits that have come from the Pittman-Robertson and Dingell-Johnson acts, which raise money for conservation by putting a tax on hunting and fishing gear. This article discusses the 75 year history of these acts and it's a really good article for all hunters to read through so you can have some facts to share with non-hunters. You might even want to send non-hunters this article to help show how hunters actually are conservationists. Thanks to Pope and Young for sharing the article and to Craig McMullen of AGFD for sending me the article and requesting it get posted. Dan H Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Amanda, thanks for posting this article. Made me feel like I was in high school again. Az history classes shared a lot of this knowledge back in 80's, hard telling now. Amazing what a handful of people accomplished.
