tjhunt2 Report post Posted June 11, 2012 Well, the phone woke me this morning, from my dad, wishing Peg and I a happy anniversary. Not being totally awake I say what anniversary. OH NO! I went and done it again. I came home from work last night and jumped on cwt as usual and around midnight Peg gets up from bed and said she couldn't sleep. She turns on the tv and I go to bed. She sleeps on the couch all night. As many of you know I forgot our anniversary a couple years ago. I'm not asking for any well wishes just prayers for my soul. A nice dinner at a good place. A little groveling may be involved. My ex sucked the soul right out of me, so I have no soul left to pray for. But I will certainly pray for yours, my friend! SunDevil Report post Posted June 11, 2012 yea - you probably need a bracelet with today's date engraved on it that you always wear. you could also get one for Peg and she would think how nice it is that you got the both of you matching anniversay bracelets not knowing that you really need it to help remind you every year. Wow, you are totally in the doghouse and might never get out. Maybe Peg just needs to give up on the idea of you remembering and just start dropping hints for a week before the anniversary....."like hey honey, where would you like to go out for our anniversary?" or "should we have your parents over to celebrate our anniversary next week?" This gesture may allow you to slip by this tear and will be a remindee for future years. If this is not a good option for you, maybe JWL is right...you just like the doghouse. 200"mulie Report post Posted June 11, 2012 Well, don't know how you get out of that one. Could take her up to glacier national park and do dome fishing on flathead lake also. That was my favorite trip. We did zion, yellowstone, and glacier in 2 weeks. But for upcoming years, you can put an alarm on your phone. I know you don't miss a thing on this site so you surely wont miss it. I'm setting it for June 5th, 2013. Then you'll have a few days to plan something.
