Ladder tree stand???

I was thinking of getting a ladder tree stand for some spots where a regular tree stand just won't work, crooked trees... Anyone have any experience or suggestions on what stands are good?

Make sure to get one that goes 20 feet, we have shot a few from them.

the 1 I have is rivers edge and cost about 120$.

It's only 16 ft.... just not high enough. the deer seem to look right up most of the time. I get board and sleepy with no action so sittin all day is hard unless I'm in a blind. I did see a video where they stuffed the ladder stand in a cedar tree and they were concealed pretty well. I think if the trees are right with enough foliage to conceal you you shouldn't have a problem. I would go with the tallest you can find.

Ladder stands and ground blinds are all we use during August. Big game two man stands are my favorite but there only 17 feet tall, I just set them up hill from where I anticipate my shot. Also, setting them in Cedars/junipers works great.

I got the Big Game 17' ladder tree stand from Sportsman Wharehouse, and the first day I put it up, I got a shot at a nice cinnamon bear...

Exactly what kind of stand was it? Do not think I am going to go out and buy one but I've often thought about how those curved trees could be a problem...
