Willyhunts2 Report post Posted June 3, 2012 Been hiking back some of the closed roads getting to know some new areas for elk hunt only to find camps and quads zipping by me. Probibly be the same in September. People either don't read signs that are on the 87 or don't care. Little of both I'm sure.

AHUNTER Report post Posted June 4, 2012 I took family camping this weekend and took my map up by A1 Mountain and was really surprised to see all the roads they closed. I have a archery cow hunt there but was thinking the same thing, I will be walking into areas were they closed the road then have other hunters ride pass me I hope Forestry can put up signs or block some of these roads off before hunt starts. I know there will be some people that will go down the closed road because like you said Dont Know or Dont Care...
4Falls Report post Posted June 5, 2012 I was in unit 8 on Sunday. Two forest service maps, two travel management maps. Lot of paper to carry around. Checking out tanks near roads that should be closed. It appears the word hasnt got out yet to most people. Vehicle tracks everywhere, some just randomly thru the country.
