seek100plus Report post Posted May 27, 2012 Heading to Sunrise Lake on 6/1/2012 for a family fishing trip, we will be fishing onshore. Last time I fish this lake was 20 years ago. I will be running by to grab a few goodies for fishing, but I know every lake has that one or 2 things that work great ! I was hoping for a little help on , what works great at Sunrise Lake. Nothing like watching kids catching fish and enjoying fishing Thanks

SunDevil Report post Posted May 29, 2012 Yep.... Kinda like how the cats slayed your worthless scumdevils Slayed? Come on! 0-1 win in the bottom of the 9th with 1 out. 7-8 win in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. it wasn't even a sweep let alone a slaying. someone needs to go back to their dictionary to try to come up with some more creative words to support their wannabeism. seek100plus Report post Posted May 30, 2012 Well a little help from fellow fisherman on this site, poles and gear are ready for battle this weekend. I picked up a room at sunrise resort for $35.00 a nite All I have to figure out now, is where to get a fishing permit and what else need is needed. I wonder if you can get a 2 pole stamp or something
SunDevil Report post Posted May 30, 2012 yep you can get a two pole stamp for the non-rez lakes. if you fish sunrise make sure you use something that has blue in it, lots of blue dragon flies around that lake and that is what the fish feast on. I just checked and the rez fishing report is two weeks old.
seek100plus Report post Posted May 30, 2012 I thought Sunrise lake is reservation lake and you need a reservation permit or a state lake, where my 2 pole stamp works. Sundevil thanks for the information, if its blue I will throw it in the box
Becker Report post Posted May 30, 2012 Yes you need a Res fishing permit. I usually pick mine up at the Gas station in front of Honda Casino. You can get them at Western Drug in Springerville. You also used to be able to get them at some of the gas stations in Show Low but I haven't checked any of them in a long while. Heading up from Tucson it was always easiest to get them right there at Honda.
