standman Report post Posted March 5, 2004 Sure is nice to see all the moisture around the state. Up here in Lakeside in the White Mountains rained and snowed most of the day on Thursday with no snow accumulation. However, last night it snowed 6" and still snowing. Could use a lot more. Sure is beautiful. Brian

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted March 5, 2004 Here in Globe we got a small accumulation of snow, but it's melting fast. Been raining all night and all morning. It's great!!! We have been getting a fair amount of rain during the last two weeks. Nice soaking rains. I was in Phoenix yesterday evening and part of the storm hit there. The hail was marble sized and sounded like it was gonna bust through the roof of my jeep and break the window. It didn't, but it sounded bad. The water accumulated heavy on the roads and there was an area where the hail was so thick on the ground it looked like a 1/4 inch of snow everywhere. There was lightning too! Very impressive storm. More D Report post Posted March 8, 2004 Down here around Tucson we had a very nice rain, the type that is slow and gets to be absorbed not quickly washed away. At the clean up this Sat you can start to see the green up FINALLY! We were down in 36a and its started to look very nice. Hopefully this keeps up and thru the summer so that is is still green and water available for the new crop of deer.

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted March 9, 2004 VML, The Pinals still have snow. They had snow even before this last storm. I haven't been up there to see how deep it is, but it looks good. Amanda
