The Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation has notified me that I will be inducted into its Outdoor Hall of Fame at its annual banquet in August. The honor, and I am deeply honored, apparently is based on my 28 years of writing outdoor columns and articles in the Tucson Citizen.

Congrats on the honor Bill. You'll be joining some esteemed company.

I've been to the last two WFTF banquets, and have enjoyed them both (good steaks & wine!). I'll look forward to shaking your hand at this year's ceremony.

Congratulations! I can remember growing up and reading the paper on only the days that the outdoors section was in part of the sports page. I don't think they even run one anymore.

Congratulations Bill.

I am sure most any of us would be proud to shake your hand and call you friend!

I believe you are deserving of this award.

You should remember to thank Algore in part for your award. :) :P

Thank him for not inventing the internet any sooner. If he had, you may have spent your time writing on forums like this, and not in the paper! :D

Fro now though, thanks for sharing your insight and humor with us here at CWT.

Enjoy the award and ceremony.
