Fire restrictions start May 16. Already starting to be a hot summer!

Flagstaff, AZ – Campfire and smoking restrictions will be implemented on the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests beginning Wednesday, May 16 at 8 a.m.Under the fire restrictions fires, campfires, charcoal, coal and wood stoves are allow...ed in developed campgrounds only. The restrictions also limit smoking to within enclosed vehicles, buildings, or in developed campgrounds. Pressurized liquid or gas stoves, lanterns, and heaters that can be turned off are allowed.
