goatsie Report post Posted May 13, 2012 This is a pre-'74 Sako L579 I was told that this rifle has under 200 rounds and that load development was still being done. The barrel is 26 inches long, the maker of the barrel is unknown, but I purchased this rifle and a few others from the son of a gentleman after he was moved to a nursing home. Every rifle I bought has been top notch! There are 50 additional loaded rounds and 15 pieces of brass that were not photographed. I believe all of the ammo is hand-loaded, most boxes have a piece of blue tape on them with particular load data. All of the load data is in with the dies and includes data for 40gr Nosler BT, 60gr Hornady Hp, 55gr, Nosler BT, and 55gr Hornady v-max. What caught my attention was on the 40gr Nosler BT there is a note stating 1/3"grouper! The rings and bases will be included...I can't think of anything else to include, email me with any questions, if nothing else, enjoy some pictures. No interest in trades, and price is firm, if I do not have any interest I will post to gunbroker in a day or two. My asking price is $900 or $700 plus trade items.
