goatsie Report post Posted May 13, 2012 This posting is just to tempt Vowell! I have for sale a Howard Dietz custom 22BR. Dietz is a master gunsmith and a world renowned competitive bench rest shooter. I am the second owner of this rifle, but I called Mr. Dietz to get as many details about it as I could. I was told the rifle has been shot less than 200 times, it is built off of a model 700 action. Mr. Dietz believes the barrel used on it is a Hart barrel, but I have no way to verify that. The barrel is 24 inches long and has 6 flutes. ~70 rounds of handloaded ammo will be included along with load data and Redding dies. This rifle is in excellent condition, and looks like it came straight from the gunsmith. Please email me for any additional pics or details needed.
