SpotNStalk Report post Posted May 9, 2012 I picked up a "project truck" and I am looking for a good mechanic or if you any of you could recommend one. It is a one owner truck with most of the original parts and I couldnt pass up on it. It has the original flathead 6 with 67k miles..Engine runs ok and have even taken the family around the block a few times. My kids think its the coolest toy ever! I am located in the west valley.. Thanks Arthur

BASS Report post Posted May 10, 2012 Tour the car shows, or try to find a local club. I was having a hard time finding NOS parts for an old military jeep, and a whole world opened up when i found like minded people. Awesome truck though!
Tucson John Report post Posted May 10, 2012 Nice! I love old Ford trucks! You might want to check out Fordtruckenthusiasts.com, and then find the apropriate sub forum. There is a ton of resources there.
