I want to use the rangefinder for archery and rifle hunting. Which one would you buy ?

Thanks

I have not used the Swarovski but I have the CRF and love it, it is amazingly fast. I have had it for 3 years and have not replaced the battery yet.

I have the Swarovski range finder I love it! The optics are crisp and clear and are great in low light conditions. My only complaint is its a bit bulky and heavy. If I was gonna buy one now I think I would probably go with the Leica.

Leica crf 1600. Perfect rangefinder. Lightweight small and crystal clear.

The CRF 1600 B would be nice so you can input the ballistics of your rifle in it. I have the 1200 and it's nice but on some days it won't read past 800. Leica from my experience has poor customer service from past dealings with them but has great glass. If I was going to do it all over again I would of bought the Swarovski, more money and bulkier but worth it IMO.

I have both and as an guide I spend about 200 days a year in the field. I would buy the leica and never look back. The swarovski is great but it is large and heavy the leica fits in your shirt or jacket pocket and you never know its there. Both are very good quailty. The leica can be had for about half the cost of the swarovski if you watch for online sales. Dave

Leica no question!!! When it comes to binos i am all Swaro but the Leica rangefinders are the best! IMO

I have the Leica and have only had trouble getting readings in blinding white snow with the bright sun out.

If the conditions are perfect, I've had readings at 2000+ yards with it.

I had the old school Leica LRF before this and am/was happy with both.

I've held both and that Leice is super slim. I'd be interested to see how easily each spit out readings out past 500yds. I woulda bought the same Leice but its expensive and you really gotta ask yourself (especially if you're a bow hunter) "why the heck do you need to range something at over 1000+ yds??"

Its nice to have a rangefinder that reaches that far to plan a stalk... you can range one ridgeline then range the next and do some quick math and find out how far you will be to really slow down your stalk.
