Snapshot Report post Posted May 6, 2012 Stunning photos. At the air show a few weeks ago the A-10's did some flyby's and demos. They must have had blanks in the gattlin guns, but man, what an awesome thing to hear them fired off.
oz31p Report post Posted May 6, 2012 Nice pictures. The "burping" sound of an a10 is like no other. And it looks like heck raining down. I've had the pleasure of seeing them in action a few times.
Coach Report post Posted May 7, 2012 Great photos! I'm a huge fan of the A-10. I saw one on the San Carlos one year while deer hunting and was blown away by how quiet it was compared to the ones I used to see over UofA when I was going to school down there. And not only was it super quiet, it was hugging the canyons so tight, it was almost like watching a hawk looking for prey. If you were a bad guy haning out, you would never know it was there until it rained down all sorts of fury on you. Fantastic job on the pictures, and thanks for sharing. Heat Report post Posted June 11, 2012 Used to work on BMGR with the Sonoran pronghorn. On the way in to work the F 16s would strafe targets while flying right above us. Scared me half to death the first time they fired while flying right over our heads! Cool photos!
