BowhunterAZ Report post Posted May 3, 2012 Wanting to buy a new bow and i am torn between the two wondering if any of you have any additional information on either bow. likes and dislikes thanks Granted this was years ago, but my uncle had two highcountry bows blow up in his hands. I know bowtech does not have the best record with that issue as well, but a bunch of my buddies currently own bowtechs and they love them. I have shot both the invasion and the insanity and I personally liked the invasion better because of the 7 inch brace height.

Becker Report post Posted May 3, 2012 I shot the insanity xl the other day. Bow seemed well put together. There were some cool options as far as the ability to change the leg of the valley that I really liked. The only thing that I really noticed when I shot it is that when the bow goes off there is a slight hum like a tuning fork that lasts just a milli-second. I could not hear it but could only feel it right when the bow went off. The only major complaints that I have really heard about bowtech is that the graphics and paint is a bit cheap but I have not heard anything about this new line. They are claiming to have changed that. They also made the grooves deeper on the cams to keep them from derailing, which according to the guy I talked to was happening when guys pulled them back with their fingers, the string gets torqued and when they let down it would derail. I am no bowtech guy or anything, that is just the main points that I came out with after shooting the bow!
1denogean Report post Posted May 3, 2012 i shot both i personally like the X10 better but every person will like a different bow so just try them both you will suprise yourself sometimes and often like a bow you never thought you would like
coues krazy Report post Posted May 4, 2012 I am interested in the high country bows. They will warranty their bows domn to around 3 grains per inch arrow weight. Read about guys shooting 370-380fps! Kinda scarry, but would be cool to shoot that fast.
