coueswt Report post Posted July 13, 2012 They allowed ATVs this past year on the Boquillas. But the unit is huge. Be careful if you take an ATV, you could very easily come in one side of the unit and out the other and it is a looong ways back. I'd scout out of a vehicle you can drive down the highway. It'll let you cover more area. ATV are a NO on the Boquillas. I thought everyone new that,
hesbinrubn Report post Posted July 20, 2012 Another tip I have pertaining to tires is: if you have stock pizza cutters on try to upgrade them to a decent all terrain tire. Also figure out an ice situation definately do block ice and possibly think about some dry also.

verdehunter Report post Posted July 27, 2012 Made a trip up there and ran into one of the ranchers. NO I didn't have an ATV with me. The signs weren't there. Asked him about it and he said they thought about letting ATVs back on the ranch. Whether they did or not I don't know, but when I was there that was the plan. But yep, I can't read........ And actually helped my buddies out on the hunt last year and there were no ATV's allowed still. Even though we didnt hunt on the ranch. Sounds like a bad idea i hope it doesn't go threw. Atv's on the ranch
