jamaro Report post Posted June 2, 2006 Hey Everybody Does anybody know of any good scouting services? I have seen the kind of animals Crazyaboutcoues has been responsible for and I was wondering if anybody would recommend a service in AZ. I just don't have the time to travel to AZ enough times to do a great job scouting... I would like to do the Sept. Bowhunt.. J-
stanley Report post Posted June 2, 2006 Check out Duane Adams out of San Manuel. Not sure if it's the exact same thing as a scouting service, but I've heard good things about his map service. S.
coueshunter Report post Posted June 2, 2006 Jamaro: Call Duwane at 520-385-4995. Basically he will get you a map marked out with where/how you access different specific areas within the unit you are looking to hunt and he has such a vast knowledge of AZ and big deer, that you cant go wrong. Call him and talk it over with him and see what you think.............Allen Taylor...........

ScottAdams Report post Posted June 4, 2006 Take a look at huntscout.com. They also have some great services in the area of maps and info for the do-it-yourself hunter. Bryan, who runs it, is also a regular on here. HUNT SCOUT Scott

jamaro Report post Posted June 20, 2006 Hey Guys... Just to keep everybody in the loop and hopefully serve as a reference for others that are thinking about trying a DIY service... I called Duwane Adams... WOW, what a great guy... He said that Scott was a lier (just joking). He seems like a real straight shooter. He has two services, one where he will take you out and one where he gives you hot spots on a map. His service is almost three as much but I got a better feeling from him then huntscout... You can really tell that this is his bread and butter... I guess at this point from my inital conversations it seems that huntscout is just getting start while Duwane has been around for a few decades. Regardless, I am going to give both services a try and see how they pan out. J-
azhuntnut Report post Posted June 20, 2006 I can personally say that you would do very well with Broken Arrow guide service. I have hunted with him in the past and he has always found deer. He donated a fully guided hunt last year to the RMEF banquet and the gentlemen who bought it shot a coues around 95 inches on the first morning. He has lived in the area he hunts all of his life and knows it very well. Plus, he makes some great mexican food back at camp. David
