couespatrol Report post Posted April 16, 2012 I finally have time to make a quick post of my kids November hunt. This was my youngest son's (CJ) first hunt. Being that it was his first hunt he was entitled to the first shot which he greatly benefitted from. Due to the glassing ability of my oldest son (LJ) he was able to take a beautiful 4x4 on the first evening of the hunt. There was a smaller buck that stuck around so my oldest daughter (Alex) decided to take that buck due to having a limited numbers of days to hunt because of school and work. Lj was able to take a nice buck on the last day of the hunt which happened to be his birthday. He made an amazing 501 yard, one shot kill in his buck which happens to be the family record for the longest shot. This hunt was filled with ups and downs, rain and snow and plenty of good memories. The pics of Lj and his deer are foggy due to moisture inside of the camera lens, we got caught in a down poor the evening before we took the pics. The greatest thing about this hunt was that we were able to spend it with family and great friends which I am trully greatful that the Lord has blessed me with!!!!
