Red Rabbit Report post Posted February 26, 2004 I noticed on the schedule that the Northwest Hunter show on the Outdoor Channel will be airing a Mexico coues hunt early this Friday morning 2/27 at 4:30 am. (mountain time). Just a heads up for those interested in setting the VCR. Will double check the guide tonight to see if it's changed. Anybody know if Eastmans will be reshowing their coues hunt anytime soon? Doug/RedRabbit
Jason Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Red Rabbit, You can buy Eastmans DVD that shows all their televised shows now. I bought it and watched the Coues Deer down south show. Killed a very nice Coues Deer around 105'. The Guide said they were only 20 miles south of Arizona. The Guide also said the buck Guy Eastman shot was the best buck he had seen in years!!!! Red Rabbit Report post Posted February 26, 2004 I noticed that the Northwest Hunter will also air this Saturday @ 7pm. Jason. Thanks for the info. Sounds like a reason for me to buy a DVD player. I can't remember the last movie I rented. Somehow, I don't want to patronize Hollywierd. Doug/RedRabbit
CHD Report post Posted March 9, 2004 I watched a show Saturday night on the Outdoor Channel of a Coues deer hunt in Old Mexico. It was Jim Zumbo Outdoors, and he hunted with Kelso. Jim's big black cowboy hat was waaaaaaay out of place in Coues country, LOL. Unfortunately, I don't know when it will be broadcast again, perhaps somebody knows how to find out? It is always neat to see video of Coues hunting since it is so rare. Kirk hunted the lower country in the ocotillos, and man I sure didn't know they could grow so thick. He even offered a few useful tips. Overall, a pretty doggone good Coues show. Chris
